Letter to the Board requesting new desks

Dear Board of Trustees and Mr Bird
This letter is to request new desks for the year 7 and 8‘pupils of Muritai School.
Firstly, our current desks are damaged and vandalized. They are not up to our standard. These desks have been permanently scarred from previous students. They are scratched, have holes in them, and they creak. This is unacceptable.
Secondly, class time is wasted where there is a massive influx of pupils all trying to get the same stationary at the same time.
I wish to state that room 21 and 23 have satisfactory desks so why should we be deprived of these sastifactory desks? I believe if all the classes have the same rules then they should have uniform desks too. The senior school is a place where we respect each other and the enviroment. These desks do not demonstrate this.
Recently the main school has had their desks upgraded. Their desks are sized and coloured correctly, while ours are all mismatched. How is it fair? The year 7 and 8’s are preparing themselves to go to high school. Surely this should be more important.
In conclusion our desks are mismatched discusting and vandalized. They do not demonstrate our respect for each other and the environment we wish to create.
LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN
Yours sincerely,
Jack Wellwood
